Dean Coombes
I am a secondary school headteacher at St Matthias in Wolverhampton and I’ve been doing this for about 12 years. I have enjoyed working as a teacher and school leader in mainstream and special school settings. I am also currently a governor at a primary school in Wolverhampton called Eastfield.

I am a CFO and Trust Business Manager for a primary MAT in Dorset. I am also a Chair of Governors for a standalone academy primary school within an umbrella trust. I have worked within Local Authorities, Further Education colleges and in maintained schools, academies and free schools including all through, primary and secondary within Dorset and London.

Tim Gallagher
I am a retired Secondary Headteacher and Chair of Governors at a Primary School in Sedgley. I work as a volunteer for the National Association of Headteachers (NAHT) and offer advice for senior school leaders in that Association. At present I am both a Member and a Trustee of the LLMAT. My specialism is School Improvement and Human Resources. I am invited to comment on Education on a regular basis with the BBC.

Patricia Keech
I was the Headteacher of a Primary School for 15 years having spent all my career teaching in Wolverhampton schools including Secondary, Infant and Primary schools. I now work as the Primary Strategic Lead for ConnectEd Partnership, a company set up by Wolverhampton schools (114 in total) to provide support and training for our city’s schools. In addition, I am the Assistant Branch Secretary of Wolverhampton Branch of the NAHT having spent 9 years sitting on NAHT National Executive.

Arthur Thompson
I am formerly a Secondary school headteacher having worked in a number of inner urban secondary schools throughout the West Midlands. Since retiring from full time teaching, I have been a self-employed education management consultant working on a range of HR and school improvement activities in schools throughout the region. I was, for a number of years, the Chair of the Governing Board at Netherbrook School and the Chair of the LLMAT Trust Board throughout the 2017/18 academic year.

John Thompson
I am a local boy, educated at Dudley Wood Primary school and Dudley Grammar School, going on to gain a first class honours degree in Chemistry from UCL. I was a Head teacher for 20 years in two Dudley secondary schools, Pensnett (5 years) and Thorns (15 years), turning both into successful thriving schools. I am OFSTED trained and have worked as an Educational consultant for the last 20 years, specialising in supporting heads and working on NPQH. I am a governor at a local secondary school and Chair of Governors at Dudley Wood Primary School.
